Go to some Real Operating System (Linux :)), type

dd if=/dev/your_hd_device of=my_disk_image.img and voila.

You can use the image in Aranym for direct access. It's even possible to use the hard disk directly, in Linux it doesn't matter if you mount a disk or an image. More on aranym.org wiki.
