From what i know about the Skunk32, it is
automatically ACTIVE and can only be switched
OFF by software. So try to skip the program
in your AUTO-folder and see if you detect any
speed-up then.
The Skunk cannot be "deactivated" by just soldering off its own connectors, you need to repair some cut tracks on the Falcon PCB as well, so it's easy to check wether your Skunk has been deactived hardware-wise or not by looking of there are solderbridges on your Falcon's PCB.

Don't expect miracles from Skunk32. The bus stays at 16 MHz and the bus is the bottleneck in the Falcon's internals. So a 32 MHz CPU does not give a massive speed-up.

Evil of DHS and i have started to work on a page about common Atari speeders, including the Skunk. Maybe we should pick up that project again ... ;-)
