Yes, and of course, some software.
To get it to run better, try to get hold of a Hard Drive ( getting harder by the day to find one for a fair price, but they are out there! ) and if possible, if you want to use it for serious work, get hold of a Mono screen for it.
When I got hold of my Mono screen, I was so impressed with the quality, I never did bother to play games on it again!
