Yes, you can.

For most STs and STEs however, it's not worth the effort if you have a computer with a HD diskdrive to transfer data.

The "full package" would imply to install
- HD diskdrive
- AJAX diskcontroller
- HD Gal (if required)
- New DMA controller (in some cases)
- TOS 2.06 (for convenience)

Pentagon GmbH in Germany offers "HD kits" including a TEAC diskdrive (which is very good) for 45 Euro.

If you're lucky and your STE happens to be one of the later MegaSTEs, you might just need a HD diskdrive and set a jumper. :-)
