Hello Anthony

The power supplies that I use on my 1050's are 9.5 volt AC not DC, the only DC power supplies that I know of on the Atari are on the XL/XE computer, 822 printer, 1010 data recorder I believe and possibly the old 810 disk drives (not sure on this one)is also a DC power supply but most others are AC power supplies.
