Sorry about the delay in getting back to you, What you are describing is possibly ram chips that are socketed and they just need to be reseated the best way to do this is to use a chip puller (or a small flat head screwdriver) to lift each of the chips up just a little then push them back into the sockets.
Then try the self test again, if they stil show up non functional then you may have some bad chips.
And if they are soldered in well then you will need to desolder and replace them (if you have to do that then make sure that you put in sockets) so that you can at least upgrade the machine if you wish.
