Hi Ace,I have read that the 1200XL has compatibility problems with 800xl software due to the OS rom(s) and i have also read that you can take the OS rom(s) out of the 1200XL and replace with the 800xl ones but you have to piggy back one of the 800xl rom to the 1200xl? Do a search on google to find out exactly what the score is but i would keep the 800xl's just incase and also why get rid when they will come in handy one day.
I tend to horde stuff and have more than one of everything i collect LOL
