Thanks for the website referral. I downloaded their BASIC version of the game but its not the version I remember playing. The one I had was more graphical and had more game play depth. When you fought other ships it went to a full screen color graphical display with sound effects and showed representations of the ships and the shooting of your weapons. It even showed a visual representation if you by accident distroyed a planet, etc...(of course you were released from command if you did that)

I have to keep looking. Might be one of the Star Trek games listed on the AtariMania site that they don't have a dump of. The one labeled 1984 that doesn't have an author listed is likely the one.
