Hello!

I wish to know more about
the specification of the
Atari XL
diskette format.

How are the sectors arranged
and what do they contain.
How are the files headers and
the directories built.

I would also like to boot
my own program into the Atari
XL, thus saving all Atari ROM
overhead, including saving all
BASIC bload, and having more
free RAM. As programming the
machine in assembler directly,
this is possible.

So, how is the boot-program
inserted into the diskette?
At which location, and where
is it loaded into memory?
How long is it?

Greetings,
SoLo2
