No, they don't make a chip like that to start with. That's why nobody does this.
It wouldn't work anyway, each chip you've got holds the contents of one bit of 65,536 memory locations.

It should always start by measuring your power supply voltage to be 5 volts to hundredths place. Both loaded and unloaded voltages. A bad power supply will take out replacement RAM chips faster than you can put them in.
