If a member of Atari.org forums who has a 65XEM music machine prototype could look inside the machine and verify the AMY audio processor part number, I'd be most indebted. I have gathering of electronic music producers on MySpace and Facebook who would be very interested in producing music with sounds from this waveform generator.
I'm trying to hunt down any remaining samples of this chip and need to verify the device number in the engineering manual is the same as the part #.
Also, it would be helpful to know if there is an engineering sample sticker on the chip or if the numbers are stamped as in a regular production chip.
The Device Number in the engineering manual is CO21859
