 Subject: Atari color monitor use with PSX?

Hello everyone, i am new here.

I have a question about my Atari sc1224 (the number could be wrong) color monitor. Can i connect this monitor in some sort of way to my playstation (PSX) game console? Has anybody some suggestions or is it impossible to do this, i mean that the monitor can't handle the PSX resolution etc. I now that there is a monitor switchbox with audio and video input.

PS. I also own an Atari 1040ST and a switchbox without video input.
