 Subject: 800xl as keyboard?

Hello everyone! I just found my Atari 800XL and it is in good working condition. I was wondering if anyone has ever dreamed up a way to use it as a keyboard for a modern computer.

I really love the keyboard on the 800XL and if there was a way to connect it to my PC/Linux desktop and make use of it, I'd love to know how.
