I have a Quadra 605 running a Dos card, running Dos(5 I believe) it has 32MB of memory, not sure of speed, I would guess it is at least a 486 cpu, but I think it may be pentium.
I also have a pc running Windows XP.
I tried to put Gem for the PC onto my Dos computer, I downloaded Gem from
http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Vista/6148/gem.html
But when I try to extract the file I get the message "cannot extract a volume id".
Although some file have been downloaded when I try to use set-up on my Dos computer everything is fine until the set-up asks me to insert the disk labelled"Gem System Master Disk"
I labelled a floppy "Gem System Master Disk", but to no avail, the dos computer appears to do "nothing", no accessing the floppy drive or noises or anything!
Can anyone help me with this?
