 Subject: My JAG is dead

Hi there
I recently bought a JAG without any games. Since I didn't bought any games I couldn't test the system right away to see if it actually worked. Today I plugged it in anyway but nothing happened. The powerindicator didn't show.

Is this normal or did the guy rip me off?
