 Subject: Lynx gets no power

Hi,
I have bought a non working Lynx. With battery and power adapter it doesn't work at all. But if I give +5V on points on the board the screen lights up and displays "Insert Game".
There must be something wrong with the circuits for the power and the on/off. Has anyone an idea, how to repair this?
