Better late than never i suppose.
I had a Lynx 2 that seemed to have lost it's sound.. very strange indeed.
Do you get sound when you use headphones, mine did!!! If you open the machine up, just be careful where you stick your fingers if it's turned on:)
Anyway, I thought my sound had gone, so i bought a couple more Lynx 2's and they are exactly the same. The sound volume sems to vary depending on the game!!!
