Dracula was a quite highly rated roam-around, don't know about a save game option.
Other good games: Rampart,Stun Runner, Scrapyard Dog(platform style), California Games, Chequered Flag, Xybots is quite good can get repetative, Lemmings is wicked!!
Avoid: Bill & Teds (unless its dead cheap)
