Iīll have to take back that about the 68000,
cos soon there actually WILL be a 66MHZ one.

Moto is about to release their newest CPU:

The 68K-cored "Dragonball Super VZ". (MC68SZ328)

66.32MHZ 68K

On-chip stuff like:

USB interface

Multichannel DMA

I2c interface

Color TFT driver/interface

and very much more...

...just pity it is a 16/32. (MC68EC000)

Letīs hope they make another one with a 32bit bus, too!
