I haven't been following the Amiga situation.
Do they have a PPC verson of the OS ?
How do they run 680x0 applications ?

I would think that a PPC would be powerful
enough to translate an application after
loading and before starting it. The resulting
PPC code code even be saved.

Calls to the OS don't present much of a
problem if the OS is native PPC.

Alternatively they could be converted on-the-
fly. This would produce more sluggish apps
and would probably not be good for drivers.

Would this hardware be any use as the start
point for a PPC Atari ?
