Subject: Demo: problem with Falcon IDE disk

Hi!

A friend of mine has coded an intro for ST. He has coded a Falcon version. But there is a little problem with the Falcon version: the IDE hard disk seems to be switched off just after the intro.

I've executed it from a floppy and from a ZIP (SCSI) too, the result is the same: when I want to read a partition of the IDE hard disk, the Falcon hangs on (it seems the Falcon is looking for the IDE device). About 1 minute after this, there is an alert box saying that data might be corrupted on C:.

My friend doesn't know all the Falcon hardware, maybe he has written something into a Falcon register? If anybody has a clue... it would be nice :)

Thanks.
