That's correct. I know that too. But speedreduction occurs anyway, so a 400MHz coldfire isn't the same as a imaginary 400MHz 68040 / 68060.
So no 100% emulating, but still writing routines for missing instructions.
Hey, I don't kbnow the answer to which option is better: colfire, PPC or x86.
I agree with you that we could take on other atari advantages. Why not design a extream portable device with lots of baterypower, perhaps with a motorola dragonbal68k?
Still, I would like to watch (and even edit) video with it.
