If I put 100 dollars in cash on the street and came back 2 hours later and found it missing, would you not think it a little silly for me to complain about it?
Its a hard lesson for him but has to be learned.
It IS nice when you find honest trustworthy people but to find that some aren't and to be surprised is naive.
I do agree about name and shame but in a sense this is also naming and shaming himself for his foolishness.
Oh and this is not stealing but "obtaining goods by deception". There is a legal difference.
I've sent out goods following auctions without waiting for a cheque to clear because people have seemed decent. I've also had cheques bounce. However if I make the decision to do something that later bites me back I am not gonna expect people to say "There there" and make it all better.
Sorry if this seems "rude" to some but life isn't always nice.
If he wants to do something constructive why doesn't he publish a little more info about the weasel and see what can be done about him?
