The guy behind "nut-fun@atari.org" was/is called Schut, not Shultz.
He indeed owned two Falcons, one of which was imported from the UK at a later time when Atari was already dead. However, if I recall correctly, he told me he bought that second Falcon for a substantially lower price than you're mentioning in your post.
Unfortunately I haven't been in contact with him for about a year, and have no idea about his whereabouts at present time. Last time I spoke to him he mentioned he was likely to sell most of his Atari stuff.
I'm depressed to see the FUN name mentioned in a post like this. FUN itself has nothing to do with this, it's an organization without any financial position and it cannot be held responsible for individual members' actions.
However, I'd be happy to try and see if I can reach him one more time to get this mess sorted out once and for all. Provide me with a copy of the deal you and Barry made, then I'll try to contact him and remind him of it. I don't know if that will help, but if it doesn't, we at least know we need to adjust the FUN membership status.
Greetings,
Peter.
