I remember nothing about adding or taking anything away?

All I remember, was that I cut the SIPS with snips, and used a soldering iron and the leg off a resistor, to push the remaining bit of the SIPs through the holes, andthen of course braid to clean it up and I simply put the SIMM sockets into the holes and threw in the RAM and put the switches to 2-3 or whatever I did... I did nothing to the SIMMS at all???

Maybe different SIMMS need different things done to them maybe?

The 4x4MB Simms I have right now have 3 chips on one side.
