Hi,
The image gets a bit blurred on the TFT in lower resolutions. However, mine is designed for 1024x768, and it supports the (strange) frequencies generated by the Videl at this resolution. The image is just as sharp as on my PC. Some tweaking of the monitor settings is required however. The autodetect function does not work properly so everything has to be done by hand.
It supports allmost any horizontal / vertical frequencies, and resolutions that are useless on a CRT looks great on the TFT.
It is even usable in vertical frequencies as low as 40Hz unlike CRT monitors. On a CRT the "light" flashes at 40Hz, while on the TFT the "light" is constant. Due to the nature of the TFT, it is still very nice to look at.
The biggest problem with TFT:s is when designing new resolutions - it goes black for 5 seconds every time you alter any display parameter!
Also, interlace does not look pretty.
I am experimenting with 15KHz horizontal frequencies, and it actually works for a while, but then the monitor decides that it shouldn't and displays a message saying "Out of range!".
/Peter
