I used to have a program called Pokey Player that played music files. It didn't use any standard music formats of the day, though. It was completely propritary. I showed it at a user group meeting and guys who had been writing programs on 8 bits almost from the first day they were released were in awe, like they didn't know how powerful the Pokey chip was, either. If you can find the program and any music files that go with it, let me know because I would like to have it again, myself.
