Hello everyone
Unfortunately, my XF551 disk drive have problems formatting.
Just yesterday, i bought an Atari XF551 disk drive.
It read perfectly, but it does not format the disk.
In the test I used DOS XE:
INITIALIZE DISK
* I choice "XF551", than START
The step-motor working fine, but after 20-30sec, the Dos report:
>ERROR 173
>Can't initialize disk
Than, i used another DOS, the DOS 2.5.
Same problem, after 20-30sec...ERROR!!
Do you can help me?

PS: In my test i used the following floppy disks:
DISPRON Floppy Disks (MDF 5,25" DS/DD 500kb)
RPS (DS/DD Cert.96/100TPI)
3M (DS/DD 500Kb)
