I've tried again and found a way to get to work more reliably at the Atari desktop. So here it is again and clearer this time. Using tos 206 and Steem, with a folder or drive open on the desktop, the desktop commands can be given by voice. Using the voice command " type" followed by the shortcut letter from tos 206. E.g. "type F" opens the create new folder dialog box .. and so on. I haven't been able to find a way to access commands for specific Atari programs by voice ... yet. The "preferred" version of the programme has an option to create new voice commands for use in Windows programs. So it might just be possible to create commands that work inside Atari programs , as well as the usual speech dictation stuff.
