Hi, i have build a vga cable for my jaguar with the schematics found in internet.
4B Red -> vga pin 1
7A Green -> vga pin 2
5A Blue -> vga pin 3
7B Luma Ground -> vga pin 6, 7
10B Video Ground -> vga pin 8, 10, 11
6A HSync -> vga pin 13
5B CompositeSync (usable as VSync) -> vga pin 14
or this one
4B Red -> vga pin 1
7A Green -> vga pin 2
5A Blue -> vga pin 3
10B Video Ground -> vga pin 6, 7, 8, 10
6A HSync -> vga pin 13
5B CompositeSync (usable as VSync) -> vga pin 14
but none of them work on my AOC 14'' CRT monitor, neither in my Daewoo CRT 17'' Digital monitor, in the first one i get a picture about 1/3 of the screen size centred vertically with scanlines longer than the screen (only even lines are draw, odd are black) and with sync errors (the screen looks like scrolling down very fast), on the second one just a black screen with the monitor light flashing like saying: ok i got signal but i can't sync it.
I don't believe that these monitors can't show a signal with a horizontal scan rate of 15khz, maybe the monitor can't handle the composite sync signal?.
I have found on internet some cables even for a Atari SC1224 Color monitor that it's older than my vga monitors and only handle up to 640x200 resolution, i wanted to use my Atari monitor but i can't find a f*ck*ng 13 pin din female connector.
Someone have build a vga cable? for what kind of monitor?
Thanks form spain.
PD. sorry for my spelling mistakes.
