 Subject: battery life

I have recently bought a new lynx two from 1632solutions, this is the first lynx i have had. I always hear stories about appauling battery life, but so far i have had 6 hours of life on one set of duracell ultras, and they still havent run out. Is this just me being lucky, or were the stories of 2 hour battery life just exagerated a bit?!
