"i was not personally attacking you, johannes.
i was meerly responding in the same manner as
others have been on atari age and stuff on a
subject like this. people have been getting
a little bit edgy and nervous on other sites."
Then you will no doubt understand your reaction looks "a little bit edgy and nervous" to say the least too.
"they were not hearing back from lars, nor were
they hearing any new or good news on this.no
one has been saying anything about getting a
copy or anything. one person today on aa has
now claimed to have gotten a copy two days
ago and they have not played it yet."
Noone said anything about it yet, except for the guy who said he already got it. Let me guess, perhaps those other people haven't oredered the game, just like you? Complaining is lame in any case...
"i have been holding off getting a copy,as it
is not available yet in the states.i do not
like having to place an order overseas, and i'm sure others don't like to either."
Well, don't place an order then, simple as that. And while you're at it, please STFU about delivery of your unplaced order, too.
"i have
not had good luck with lars in the past with
stuff being ordered from him.i'm not saying
he is a bad person or anything. i have not
"personally" had good luck in dealing with
him(lars) on stuff."
I'm not saying you're a bad person Chris, all I'm saying is that I've never "personally" had any good experiences with you and I therefore don't "personally" trust you (not even slightly).
[irony]Maybe it's because I don't want to deal with people from the other side of the pond, they even speak another language than me so they damn sure must be scary and trying to steal our great US of A dollars![/irony]
"i also never said this did not exist.people
were stating they were "wondering" about it
"and" it got me to wondering abo...."
Stop wondering about products you're clearly not intending to buy, you're wasting your as well as important people's time.
I am in no way related to Duranik, actually I learned about this game from your post here. However, most likely similar to the Duranik people, I know what it's like to develop software for a dead platform without any perspective of a decent profit margin. The only reason one does that kind of thing is because he loves his hobby. And you know what? Even though you're doing your work out of love for the platform you have enjoyed since you were a child, there will always be some idiots claiming to be fans of that very platform who will come up and start making baseless allegations. Needless to say there's hardly anything as demotivating as receiving stabs in the back from members of your own community.
So if you truly care about your Lynx, Chris, I would advise you to stop talking about this topic until you have a substantial reason to mention it again. More non-sense stories from non-customers will not help the cause in any way.
