I seem to remember that their was a way to determine the bad chip/chips from that simple pattern. However, their is a problem with that.
The self test on Early 130XEs only tested the first 64K of RAM just like the 800XL. The later models corrected this, and do test the full 128K. But the amount of displayed blocks stays the same??? So using this self test could be a bit difficult.
You will notice that their are 40 blocks not an even 32 or 64..
Obviously from the pattern though, it is more than 1 bad chip,, at least 2 maybe 3.
The worst part is that their all surface mounted and and very difficult to remove without damaging the board. Replace the bad chips with sockets.... There are much better memory testers out their that will be more helpful.
