My issues with Cubase crashing seem to be resolved by letting the computer 'warm up' before asking it to perform unbelievable feats!
Never had any graphical issues only with the magnify tool in that French art package!
If all else fails try running a demo or two to warm the parts other software doesn't reach.
Try Reseating memory. (If your knowledge is up to scratch!)
