Hi all,
I have a 1040STf with a fdd that doesn't seem to be responding. The ST has been in a state of non-use for some time, and I wanted to see if things still worked. If I ultimately need to replace the fdd, which drives are compatible?
Not sure exactly which ROM, but the copyright date is '85, so it's probably 1.0. I'd eventually like to update the ROM, but this is what I have to work with now.
I also have an SF 354 in which I might like to replace the drive, and I have seen some discussions on replacements, but again, which drives might I install in the SF 354?
Thanks for any help, and it's great there's still interest in these machines!
