This subject has been touched on but AFAIK never covered as such.
Basically, Im using a TFT Monitors at the Moment with a TT, its an NEC Multisync 15" and its got a nasty grainy picture that I cannot get quite right... Its close, but not quite you know...
You can adjust the screen width by each pixel at a time and you can see how this is affecting the display... Those who remember MONO EMULATORS, you know how they kind of displayed every other horizontal line, but then some lines were thinner of greyed out... Well, this seems to do it vertically...
Im sure some may know what I mean.
Anyway, I can adjust it but only so far.
Im semi-ok with the screen as it is as I am only using the TT at this time for CuBase and so I only need to see the monitor to do basic functions but should I need to stare at it or look in any detail, Im knackered.
The Previous monitor I had, that was a TFT or LCD was I think a Samsung ( Not 100% on that though ) and the adjustmenst on that were amazing and it full and automatically adjusted to the TT's display and gave me a sharp and perfect display that even got rid of the huge right hand border.
So, I know that Flat Screens are capable of displaying the TT screens... Or at least the 640x480x16 Mode anyway.
But, is there a list of such monitors?
Or is there anything that us TT users need to know when looking out for a Monitor of what it should have to display the TT screen as good as it should be?
I mean, CRT Monitors are fine so why such a hassle for Flat ones?
Or, is there some hardware hack or device we could use that will enable a TFT to display the TT screen?
Anything that can help will be great.
