Well, this discussion kept the small Falcon scene busy
end of the nineties already. Demos that required 14MB
or an FPU were considered "cheating" by some and
"making the most out of what the Falcon offered" by
others.
Instead of appreciating the fact that people invested their
free time into doing _something_ for the Falcon, some
people kept complaining that they were doing it the wrong
way.
In other words: You're 15 years late.
I rather have a working Doom that requires 14MB of RAM
than no working Doom. If DML receives no other feedback
than this kind of feedback. it's very unlikely that he'd
spend the time into scaling it down to a 4MB version.
WB Systemtechnik still have their (empty) RAM-card on
their webpage, i can't tell whether they're still selling
them though. If you intend to buy one - they're actually
plug'n play and very reliable.
