I was wondering if any Portfolio users could help me troubleshoot my file-transfer: I found a patch that lets me boot to DOS on winME, ran my file transfer software following the instructions that came with it, and... almost nothing happened. in one instance, transferring a .txt from my PC to the Portfolio, the filename was created, but the file itself was empty. in another, trying to transfer a .txt from the portfolio to the desktop, i repeatedly got "file not found" despite getting the pathname correct and all. the parallel interface was a still-in-the-original-packaging one, and i tried dusting off the long-unused parallel port on my computer to no avail.
