Hi
Hmm not quite the right sectio to plonk this in, but i'll do my best for you:))
That's another big thing with windoze me, many of the pofo utilites will only run under dos. I removed me and went back to windows 98se, and me was too slugish and bugged to high-heaven.
Anyway, forget about your windoze operating system for the time being, the transfer and even the pofo card reader will only run via booting to dos.
What i suggest you do is get someone to format and write the system files on a floppy in dos.
You should be able to then boot using this floppy, and by passing me's startup stuff:)
If your machine wont boot from floppy, you will need to go into BIOS and change the booting order.
It may also be work checking to see what mode your parallel interface is running in BIOS, if it's been disconnected via bios nothing you will do will find it from dos or windoze no matter what version.
Check that the BIOS is configured to use it and if no other device uses it, switch it to normal mode.
Hope i've been of some help:)
