Anyone know if it is possible to properly read ST disk using USB Floppy disks?

I'm hoping they didn't emulate the problems the internal drives have with reading ST/Amiga/Mac/other formats and instead made a proer Interface between USB and the Disk Drive.

I think I asked this with regard to IDE LS120 drives as they can read Floppies (Apparantly)
or maybe I dreamt it....
