The program is the driver for the card, it supports at least virtual screen, don't remember if it had a mouse accelerator aswell.

The card gives ECL output, and SM194 was made espacially for it. Other ECL monitors will probably work aswell. Mono 1280*960, your monitor will not work.

As for the socket I'm not sure, as I don't know how the things you described look like. My best bet is that you can put a 68881 there (FPU).
