hmmmm
I'm not saying that 12MB would be the be all and end all.
I have a hard drive, it works well, and don't believe that I've come close to running out of space on it so far, so getting a hard drive jsut isn't an urgent need for me.
I totally agree that attempting to get to 12mb could be costly, awkward & a hard drive is good & you show me a TT or Falcon for any decent price and I'll snap your hands off.
but my st is 4mb, and it does a good job & I can get an Atari STE for a decent price, should I need, whereas we all realise that the higher end Atari's are rare & expensive when they do come along, certainly in comparrison with an STE.
I run Deluxe paint & run out of memory, after a 3 minute animation, so 12MB would be a great improvement.
I did not suppose that somebody would make a plug'n'play 60Gb hard drive.
If I say what I want, then somebody might make it...
if not, then I've hardly lost anything.
