Why is it that I post somehting and it goes AWOL?
I was sure I posted on the 16/32 forum last night, but I had to re-do it, and now I posted a reply to this and I know I did, so why 2?
Anyway, where am I?
Ok, you say its not supposed to be a GEM compatible but as close to the Atari as possible?
Im confused?
Surely the whole backbone of the Atari is heavily based on GEM, or do you only mean the TOS side of it?
If so, then this is not really what I am saying though...
I am saying that all these emulators are happy to give us virtual screen modes like 800x600 or 1024x768 while still emulating an ST, so why can they not just give us 256 colours then? - Especially given that the TT and Falcon can both display 256 Colours, and even 65K colours on the Falcon, so these are still Atari screen modes are they not.
Can you se where I am there?
