Im getting there... Im getting there...
I just had a week in Turkey.
I needed it I can tell you.
No, quite literally the night before I went, I had a massive thrash on the Falcon, trying this or that out, all with different sticks of RAM, tweaking the Power supply and so on, and the Falcon actually got Magic v6.2 up and running.
Just the basic MagicDesk mind you, but thats all I needed for now.
Anyway, I have got back and been playing about a bit more... Installed Jinnee ontop of Magic v6.2 and so far, its seeming to be fairly stable.
Papyrus Office, CAB, QED, GemBench 3.28 ( I think v4 has issues I have not bothered to try actually ) have all run fine.
So far, its been great, although I have not pushed it or really used it properly, Im not really all that worried about it anymore.
I know I have done a lot to it, and I know that the only thing that I can truly pin-point that I have done to it that I can thinnk has made the difference is for me to clear the NVRAM!!! - It was after that, that it started to improve.
So, t this time, I am chuffed.
Still a VERY LONG way to go.
