The TT has a standard VGA port on the back so you can hook it up to any modern monitor or television. I have mine connected to a 19" LED Samsung TV at the moment.
500 pounds is a very good price for a TT. I've seen STFMs go for that price here in Canada, MegaSTEs for about £750, TTs are usually £1250 or more (although these are greedy eBay prices).
£500 would also get you a Firebee which is a more modern Atari-compatible computer about 36 times the power of a TT.
