I remember joining the Atari and the Amiga with parallel cable and joining both cables with a null modem connector. I recall you can use either parallel or serial ports.
I do have a real Pc with a real floppy drive I think its a 386...
but USB seems everywhere. I have a USB Floppy, but i read a floppy disk formatted or even written to on USB Floppy drive is not readable on Atari. I found my Floppy drive and will try transferring some files.
I am still reconstructing my Atari Language Disk...I now have an Atari Mouse..
