Hi,

Yes I think it is correct that MiNT has not been reliable on 68000 systems lately. This is however subject to change, hopefully. The problem has been that the main MiNT developers have not had access to 68000-hardware.

During NAS2006 this problem has been looked upon and you can read a bit more about that here:

And indeed, judging the speed of todays MiNT by refering to MiNT 1.4 is absolutely not fair. MiNT has come a long way since then, both in terms of speed and stability. Hopefully the 68000 compatibility will soon be repaired too.
