I'd definitely say the falcon video output *is* standard VGA, since the adapter in question is passive. It's only a different connector.
Also, rhe falcon is more compatible than the TT in every aspect. The TT doesn't have a blitter, to start with.
TT-RAM in itself doesn't cause compatibility problems, since that can be configured by the end user through flags in the program header. Dumb programs that hit the hardware directly will go for ST-RAM by default, since the memory map equals that of an ST.
