The STE is 99% compatible with ST software, but not with Falcon- or TT-only software. The falcon is nearly 70% STE-compatible. Some oddball TT stuff which hit the hardware directly won't run on the Falcon. The TT is nearly 70% ST-compatible, but STE stuff may cause problems since the TT has no blitter. It is generally not compatible with Falcon stuff. It all depends on what you want to do. Play games? Go for an STE. -- Peter
